The other night we went with my brother and sister-in-law and nephew to ride the Polar Express in Monticello, IL.  The kids LOVED it and it was so wonderful to see them enjoy the magic of it all. <3

So, a while back Sam started to build the Death Star from directions on the internet and some of the trillion Legos we have in our house.  It met a tragic, untimely end.

And now, Sam has started to rebuild…make it stronger, faster, and maybe a little more toddler-proof.  LOL.

Progress so far:

This year we continued the tradition of Thanksgiving at my parents’ house.   I love my family more than anything and had a wonderful time with all of them.

Not a great pic, but we took the boys to see Wreck It Ralph with my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew, Jack.  Everyone had a great time. =)

Last weekend we all walked in the Jingle Bell Walk for Arthritis.  My friend, Lynn, who has a huge heart, suggested that we all walk for our friend, Sally’s son, Devin.  We had a great time and I think this is the start of a wonderful tradition.  We hope to raise as much money as possible next year, so let us know if you would like to join us or donate. =)

Liam, as usual, loved trick or treating and being with his friends and cousin.  Euan really got into things this year – wore a mask and everything!  And was the cutest Batman ever. =)
